Animal Welfare Council/Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic

The Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic is owned by the Animal Welfare Council, a non-profit organization formed in 2006 by a group of individuals who share concern and passion for animals in the community and strive to fulfill the needs of local animals and their owners.

Animal Welfare Council/Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic

The clinic currently offers low cost Spay & Neuter services to the public, surrounding shelter and rescue organizations. In addition, we offer routine vaccines, micro-chipping, flea & tick prevention and wellness. The clinic also owns and operates a transport bus which transports local and surrounding shelter/rescue and family-owned animals to the clinic for Spay & Neuter services. We also have a satellite clinic located in Centre Hall. The Animal Welfare Council offers dog sheltering programs, straw for bedding, pet food pantry and educational opportunities. We are proud to say that we have spay and neutered over 38,000 animals.
